How to Find Heli Tours on the Airport
You can choose to take the pedestrian tunnel to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport or the 90-second ferry ride that runs every 15 minutes across Toronto’s inner harbour.
1. Take the Tunnel
The entrance to the tunnel is located inside the mainland pavilion directly to the east of the airport’s ferry terminal. Six elevators are available to take you down the 100 feet to the tunnel level, which features four moving walkways for your added convenience. Unfortunately at this time, the moving sideways are not working.
At the south end of the tunnel, the escalators are not working. However, you can take the elevator up to the arrivals level. The elevators are located just to the right of the escalators.
2. Take the Ferry
The ferry ride to and from Billy Bishop Airport is one of the shortest in the world at just 121 metres. The 90-second trip will have you where you need to be in no time and if you’re standing on the pedestrian deck you can enjoy a unique view of downtown Toronto. The ferry departs from the foot of Bathurst Street.
The ferry is free for pedestrians and $11 for vehicles (return trip).
If you are a pedestrian, when you exit the ferry you will head towards the Departures area of the terminal which is on the second floor. You will need to proceed downstairs to the main floor.
Once At the Airport:
- From the ground floor (Arrivals Area) of the terminal building exit to the outside.
- Proceed straight across the traffic circle in front of you
- On the other side of the traffic circle, you will see a building with the name Stolport above the entrance.
